Dumb Customers #2

I just spoke to a customer who couldn't spell the word "clinic." Seriously. He had to ask me for help.

I was dumbfounded at first; silence on the phone. Then I responded, "C-L-I-N-I-C...You know, like the free one your daughter was at yesterday?"

What's happening to people these days?

I got here from brainysmurf.org. I sometimes get people call me and ask for the fax number. After I give it to them they say, "Is that the same area code?" Next time someone asks that, I'm going to say, "It is now. Up until last week, we use to keep our fax machine in another state but eventually figured it was more convenient to keep it within a few hundred feet of our work area."
