Get in touch...
With broadband Internet and mobile messaging, I am almost always online
these days. I may not actually be there, though, physically or
mentally.
If you're contacting me during work hours, I'm most likely at my
desk,
massaging a slinky and staring at my hourglass. If I don't answer
right
away, give me a few minutes to regain cognizance.

MSN Messenger: Yeah right.
...but read this first
- I love to talk, and can discuss anything from the philosophical,
to
the political, to the social, to the emotional. Anything
thought-provoking.
Anything but the mundane.
- I have been known to engage in a probing, "rapid-fire" style of
conversation
that catches strangers off guard. It's not that I'm juiced up or
caffeinated
-- just my way of optimizing the conversation for maximum stimulation
and
minimum wasted time. If you're not ready for it, then don't come
calling.
- I am generally more interested in improving my understanding of a
subject
than winning the "argument." However, I can be very argumentative
if
I believe my views are more logical and reasonable than yours. I
concede
logical points, and refute everything else.

Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): Hi
IT Wizerd (5:56:06 PM): Heya
Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): Came across your
site...I disagree that John McCain and Colin Powell would have
made
a third party "dream ticket" for 2000.
IT Wizerd (5:56:06 PM): Why's that?
Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): Well, they're a great
combination, but they still wouldn't have had a chance to win the
election.
It's all about the "get out the vote" operation as well
as special
interest money.
IT Wizerd (5:56:06 PM): That may be true, but I think you're underestimating
the
viability of third-party candidates in the face of two uninspiring
mainstream
candidates. If 19 million people can vote for Perot and his aloof
running
mate Sgt. Whatshisname, then credible candidates certainly have a
chance.
It was especially true in 2000, since Bush vs. Gore presented an
even
worse choice than Bush vs. Clinton.
Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): Right, but a
nascent third party would be out-hustled on the ground and also
outspent.
They wouldn't get a sizeable chunk of the Christian Right or
affluent
whites who make up the base of the Republican party, nor would they
appeal
much to the labor unions and liberals who vote democratic.
IT Wizerd (5:56:06 PM): True...that leaves only centrists and independents.
And
we both know they're outnumbered by idiots on both sides of the
political
prism.
Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): haha yeah really
IT Wizerd (5:56:06 PM): Though Powell could get a large number of minority
votes.
Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): True...
Gestapo 296 (5:56:06 PM): Hey check my site
out too, it's at www.myblog.com/.....
IT Wizerd (5:56:06 PM): Very nice, wanna crosslink?
